Terms of Service

Use The Command Centre Responsibly

These terms define access, account, virtual-economy, moderation, availability and third-party service boundaries. Updated 5 August 2026.

Important: these terms apply to the World War Z community website, Discord bot, dashboard and connected DayZ server services. Official Discord, PlayStation, DayZ and hosting-provider terms also apply.

1. Acceptance And Scope

By accessing or using the website, bot, dashboard, Discord community or connected DayZ server, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Moderation & Appeals Policy, posted server rules and applicable third-party platform rules. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

These services are operated as an independent community project. Access may be limited, suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary to operate or protect the community.

2. Eligibility And Accounts

  • You must meet the minimum age and account requirements imposed by Discord, PlayStation, DayZ and applicable law.
  • Where parental or guardian approval is legally required, you must have that approval.
  • You must not impersonate another person, misuse another account or provide a PlayStation ID that you are not authorised to link.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your Discord and PlayStation accounts and for securing those accounts.
  • Account links may be corrected or removed where they are inaccurate, compromised, duplicated or used to evade enforcement.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the services for ordinary participation in the World War Z community, including server information, player self-service, bot commands, events, support and authorised administration.

Owners and authorised administrators must route operational notifications only to appropriate community-controlled Discord channels. Webhook tools must not be used to impersonate others, spam channels, disclose protected case information to unauthorised audiences or bypass Discord permissions.

You must not interfere with the bot, API, database, dashboard, server, moderation systems or other users. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorised access attempts, automated abuse, credential theft, denial-of-service activity, malicious code, exploit use, ban evasion, evidence tampering and attempts to bypass permissions or rate limits.

4. Virtual Economy And Survivor Shop

Bot balances, rewards, jackpots, bounties, shop values and similar records are fictional community features. They are not money, cryptocurrency, stored value, a bank account, an investment or a promise of real-world goods or payment.

  • Virtual balances cannot be sold, transferred for real money, redeemed or withdrawn unless an authorised community rule expressly says otherwise.
  • Survivor-shop orders use virtual balance only and may represent manual in-game delivery, a next-restart Central Economy delivery, or another clearly described community service. Stock, limits, availability, exact spawn timing and fulfilment are not guaranteed until the order status or an authorised administrator confirms completion.
  • For event deliveries, the buyer is responsible for providing clear, valid and reasonably safe in-game coordinates. Terrain, persistence, server restarts, nearby objects, DayZ Central Economy behaviour and third-party outages can delay, move, damage or prevent a delivery.
  • Saved delivery locations are convenience records and are not protected safe zones, ownership claims or guarantees that future spawning at those coordinates will remain suitable.
  • A confirmed purchase may debit the virtual wallet immediately. An eligible cancellation or refund returns virtual balance only; it does not create a cash, card, cryptocurrency or other real-world refund.
  • Administrators may correct, reverse, freeze or reset transactions affected by error, abuse, duplication, exploits or rule violations.
  • No value is guaranteed if the bot, database, economy rules, shop catalogue or community closes or changes.

5. User Content And Evidence

You retain any rights you have in content you submit. By submitting messages, reports, screenshots, videos, links or other material for community use or moderation, you permit authorised community staff to access, reproduce, store and review that material only as reasonably necessary to operate the community, investigate reports, enforce rules, resolve appeals and preserve audit integrity.

You must not submit content you are not entitled to share, knowingly false evidence, malicious files, private personal information without a legitimate reason, or material that violates law or platform policy.

6. Moderation And Access Decisions

Community staff may issue warnings, adjust virtual-economy records, remove content, kick users, unlink accounts, or impose temporary or permanent Discord and DayZ bans in accordance with the Moderation & Appeals Policy. Eligible linked members may submit one active appeal per case through the protected dashboard or direct Discord command, subject to configured deadlines, cooldowns and evidence rules. Serious safety, security, legal or platform concerns may require immediate action before a full review.

Administrative tools record case and audit information. A displayed ban-list entry or case record does not create a promise that access will be restored at a particular time if a third-party platform, technical failure, separate rule breach or lawful requirement prevents restoration.

Appeal tickets and notifications are operational aids rather than the authoritative Railway case record. Submitting an appeal does not itself pause or reverse enforcement. A delayed, skipped or failed ticket or notification does not invalidate the underlying moderation action, appeal, assignment or audit entry.

7. Availability And Changes

The services are provided on an as-available basis. Features may be changed, paused, restricted or discontinued for maintenance, safety, technical, hosting, legal or community reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent data availability, compatibility with every device or recovery of every record.

Reasonable safeguards and backups may be used, but users should not rely on the community services as the sole copy of important information.

8. Third-Party Services

Discord, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Bohemia Interactive, Nitrado, GitHub and Railway are independent providers. Their services, outages, enforcement decisions, data practices and terms are outside the community's control. Links to external services are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

9. Disclaimers And Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the community services are supplied without guarantees of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from interruption. The World War Z community and its volunteer administrators are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the services.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

10. Changes And Governing Law

These terms may be updated to reflect feature, rule, security, platform or legal changes. The effective date will be shown on this page. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction there.
